This multi purpose court was in dire need of rejuvenation. NATUROIL Sports Gloss was used to protect and enhance the natural appearance of this full sized multipurpose court. NATUROIL Sports Gloss was chosen for its ease of application, flow and levelling.
The applicators began by thoroughly cleaning the floor with AQUACARE 8430 Floor Clean & Degreaser. The floor was sanded back to a raw timber to remove any residual coating. Any defects or holes were repaired with suitable putty and the court was again sanded to a professional finish. The first coat of NATUROIL Sports Gloss was applied. This penetrated the timber and provided a sound base for the following coats.
Line markers were called to measure and colour the new line markings. Once this was completed; two more coats of NATUROIL Sports Gloss were applied to finish the court.
This once tired, dull and heavily scratched court now complies with AS/NZS 4586:2004: Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials NATUROIL Sports has been evaluated for pedestrian slip by third party, Advanced Technology Testing Research (ATTAR) against AS/NZS 4586. The coating system passed the requirements of the standard for “Dry Slip Resistance” and accordingly the products are classified as Dry = D1.
The multipurpose court is now bright and ready for any game to come its way!
