 Product Description

FASTASEAL 3535 Clear Sealer & Recoat Primer is a versatile clear primer that may be applied in single or two pack form depending upon application requirements. FASTASEAL 3535 is aromatic free and low odour.

When used in two pack form, FASTASEAL 3535 has been specially formulated to provide excellent adhesion to UV coated engineered or solid wood flooring. FASTASEAL 3535 MUST be mixed 10A:1B by volume with FASTASEAL 3535 Part B Hardener when used to recoat engineered, floating, solid timber or cork floors previously finished with a MIROCURE UV cure, DURAPOL Moisture Cure or POLYTHANE Two-Pack Polyurethane coating system.  When mixed with FASTASEAL 3535 Part B Hardener, FASTASEAL 3535 also provides excellent adhesion over metal inlays (e.g. brass and aluminium).

When used in single pack form, FASTASEAL 3535 is ideal as a first coat sealer on uncoated interior timber, parquetry or cork.

When applying a water based floor coating system, FASTASEAL 3535 is highly recommended for use as a barrier coat on bare timber to minimise the risk of tannin bleed. FASTASEAL 3535 may be applied in either single pack or two pack form. For best protection and adhesion apply in two pack form.

FASTASEAL 3535 minimises resin exudation problems in oily timbers such as Brushbox, Tallowwood, Spotted Gum, and other imported tropical timbers. FASTASEAL 3535 is low yellowing and reduces the intial darkening of timber that is normally associated with solvent based coatings. FASTASEAL 3535 does not require sanding when recoated with DURAPOL Moisture Cure, POLYTHANE Two-Pack Polyurethane and AQUAPRO Water Based coatings. This product is designed for interior use only.
